SCHOOL TIMINGS

The school begins from 7:30 A.M every day and continues up to 1:10 P.M. Students and Teachers of JMP MODEL SCHOOL reach the school in time and participate in the prayer assembly.

SYLLABUS

JMP MODEL SCHOOL follows strictly the syllabus which is provided by NCERT as per the CBSE norms and guideline form UKG to Class- X .

ASPECTS OF EVALUATION

Both Scholastic and Co-Scholastic aspects are given due recognition in JMP MODEL SCHOOL for holistic assessment, Comprehensive profile for each learner is maintained in an honest, encouraging and discreet way. Our teachers frequently reflect, plan and implement remedial strategies to retain a child’s ability and articulate what has been learned over a period of time and conduct periodic assessments.

Apart from this, Chapter End Tests are being conducted and carried out by the subject teachers during a course of instruction for obtaining continuous feedback from the learners. It helps the subject teacher to carry out and take decisions regarding appropriate modification in the learning activities.

ASSIGNMENT

Projects, Assignments, Playway, Book reading are the different forms of assignments which are given to the students to reduce the over-burden among the students from class I to V.

Home Assignment is essential for keeping the students usefully busy at home besides six hour’s work at school. Purposeful home assignments are given to the students from Class VI to X to make them update about the teaching learning.

REMEDIAL CLASSES

JMP MODEL SCHOOL  thrusts special care and attention upon the students who are slower in learning through the regular remedial classes. Student’s doubts, Quarries and Confusions are addressed in these classes. Extra time and attention are given to the slow learners by the teacher in grouping. The remedial classes are taken just after the end of the regular classes which helps the students to fully understand a day’s discussion.

EXAMINATION PROCEDURE

Students in Kindergarten, Class I and Class II have oral and interactive activities for Formative Tests. From Class III to Class X four tests are being conducted in our school that includes two Formative Assessments and two Summative Assessments. All the tests will be considered for gradation in deciding the promotion of the students to the higher class. For class IX and X assessments are being conducted as prescribed by the Board from time to time.

After the completion of every examination the progress of the students are informed to the students and parents by providing a progress report.
